Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a Reimbursement, Team Lead (GI) working remotely from your USA home-based office, with a start date prior to February 9, 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Reimbursement, Team Lead (GI)
The Reimbursement Team Lead is a hands-on leader who provides ongoing mentorship and support to assigned team members while remaining highly engaged in daily departmental operations. This role is responsible for completing reimbursement tasks alongside the team and meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality standards. The Team Lead assigns daily work and sets priorities to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments, offers hands-on guidance by answering questions and resolving issues promptly, and supports team members in achieving performance expectations. In addition, the Team Lead conducts ad-hoc quality spot checks to ensure quality metrics are met and serves as a content expert for assigned laboratory tests, assisting with the development of custom letters and training materials.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in education or healthcare preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of health insurance billing experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge in resolving laboratory claim issues, submitting appeals, and reviewing medical records.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- 5 - 10% as needed for training and meetings
SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, exempt position, working remotely from your home office located in the USA.
